Wedding Photography in Bracebridge

Each of the different townships that make up the Muskoka region is unique and different yet each one has the similarities of being places where people love to cottage, they have big homes and small, and famous celebrities such as Jim Carrey and Goldie Hawn have cottages in this beautiful part of the country. Bracebridge has many different places to take pictures for weddings including Brooklands Farm, Bracebridge Falls, Huckleberry Rock, Lion's Lookout and the R.M.S. Segwun and each one gives a feeling of lakes and rocks and trees which populate the natural areas of the town. The inn at the falls and Camp Muskoka are two other locations that weddings take place as well as at private cottages throughout the region.

We use every lens in our bag and every camera in our possession to help you to look your best in your pictures on your wedding day. We will give you the posing necessary to look great and will capture the moments that make up the emotion of your family so you can look back on your wedding day with pride and show of your photos to the generations to come.

Gravenhurst Photo Locations

Gravenhurst sits at the head of Lake Muskoka and the harbour gives a beautiful feel of the area. We often suggest the marina as the best spot to take wedding photos in Gravenhurst. The blue skies and clear waters lend to very outdoorsy pictures. A few minutes down the street from the marina is the extremely popular and famous wedding venue, The Muskoka Bay Club. This exclusive club owns one of the most beautiful views in the region and it caters to luxury and high end weddings. When you hold your wedding there you get a golf cart to tour around the course and find the best locations and views of the clubhouse perched on top of the rocky hill. The service here is also top notch which allows for very relaxed photos of the bride and groom. The Sawdust City Brewing Company is also a smaller boutique wedding venue that is popular in the city. It gives a very rustic feel to DIY weddings. Of course you can have your ceremony on your own property then head down to any of these spots to capture some different images for your album. Taboo Resort is the most luxurious place to have your wedding in the Muskoka region, located in Gravenhurst this relaxed atmosphere laid back venue can host up to 100 of your closest family and friends for a getaway from Toronto and offer your guests a place they will never want to leave. Taboo resort is often featured in wedding magazines and blogs as the top wedding destination north of Toronto.

Huntsville Wedding Photos

Huntsville is a bit further north than Bracebridge but there is a cluster of golf course and resort communities that draw many brides and groom each year to have their marriage and reception. You can say your nuptuals on the beach at Deerhurst Resort and have a large banquet hall available to enjoy the rest of the evening or you can go to the Hidden Valley Resort where you will receive more of a cottage feel in a big venue whose decorating will make you feel right at home. We love taking photos in the foyer of Hidden Valley Resort. Grandview Resort and Norsmen Walker Resort are two other options in the are to take beautiful fall wedding photos.  The colors of the maple trees in early October are the best colour found anywhere near Toronto and if you want fall colours in your wedding photos Muskoka, and specifically Huntsville is the place to go.

Muskoka Lakes Weddings

The Sherwood Inn and Bala Bay Inn are two of our favourite quaint hotels to go along with our clients to their weddings. These Muskoka Lakes venues are fully sold on family friendly and family run lodging.

Of course there are also other small communities and parks throughout Port Carling, Orillia, Rosseau, Seguin Falls, Dorset, Bala, Mactier and Moon River which have fabulous places to tie the knot. If you have good weather then any one of these fabulous cottage getaways would be a perfect place for a wedding.
