Sherry and I use the engagement photo time as a way to get to know our couple pre-wedding or before the day they are married in order for them to feel more comfortable on the day of and to understand what it is we mean when we give specific posing instruction. In North Vancouver there are all sorts of locations to use for your pictures including the Cleveland Dam, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Grouse Mountain, Spanish Banks, Cypress Mountain, the Sea to Sky Highway, Squamish, and many other places around the area. It is filled with trees, parks and natural spaces and we can often get down to the water to get oceanside photos. Some people choose to hire us for the proposal where he gets down on one knee to propose to his then girlfriend that becomes his fiancee should she say yes. The newly engaged couple can then embark on a short and sweet photo tour riding high on the emotion of the moment and encapsulate their memories before heading off for a wonderful dinner or home to tell all their family and friends. The engagement ring, the proposal and a time to take photos all go hand in hand with this time of life.
