One of the beautiful things about living in a big city like Vancouver is the variety that it has. If you want to go out for dinner your options are endless in that you can go to one of the many fine restaurants in Gastown or in Granville Island, or you can head across the bridge to North Van and find a quaint pizza shop that makes artisan pizzas. If you want to buy designer clothing, you have every option available including couture shops like Deadly Couture or Clara Couture and if you want to have Vancouver engagement photos taken you have many different locations you can go to in order to get any different feel you would like for your pre-wedding pictures. Stanley Park is a beautiful in the city location for photos with it's oceanfront seawall walkway giving you every kind of light any time of day depending where you go along the seawall. You can go to Grouse Mountain and head to the top in order to get beautiful photos of the surrounding mountains or you can explore Gastown and Hastings St. in order to get some grungy city feel photos. This photo was taken in one of the many parking structures and luck for us it is a blue colour with a centre column spiralling around. We placed our soon to be bride and groom along one of the walkways so the leading lines of the composition drew your eye right to the couple. The blue spirals throughout the photo give an artistic feel to this natural engagement photo.
