Toronto is known for it's history and architecture and nowhere in the city is that shown more than in the beautiful churches spread throughout the city. There are large and beautiful Catholic churches like St. Paul's Cathedral as well as Greek Orthodox, Baptist, Episcopalian, and Anglican. This century old buildings hold a history and significance in the city including the beautiful art work and colours which adorn their walls. Because this is such an important part of the wedding day some will step outside of their own faith in order to get married in such a beautiful place. As photographers it is our job to capture the beauty of the location as well as the couple getting married. Keeping 2 photographers present during the ceremony allows us to get two different angles throughout the nuptials and allows us to capture the emotion on the brides face while still having a wide view of the event. Sometimes the church has a balcony where we can put a camera to give an overview of the entire guest seating area including the aisle and priest. These types of churches give us the most options as far as angles and they are out favourite to photograph in.
