Tom & Kate | Graydon Hall Manor Winter Wedding

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for Tom & Kate’s winter wedding at Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto this February.   During a winter when snow has been scarce, we woke up in the morning and looked outside to see beautiful big fluffy flakes falling from the sky and we just knew it was going to be a wonderful day. Arriving at Graydon Hall in the morning we found the bride relaxing with curlers in her hair, a booster juice in her hand, and a blackberry in the other, just enjoying the snow falling outside. We heard from her bridesmaids that when Kate woke up she was rushed to the window to see the white winter wonderland and was jumping up and down with excitement. So need less to say we were all thrilled about the snow.

We got to know Tom & Kate really well during their engagement shoot this past summer when we got to spend two whole days with them in Banff, Alberta. We had a blast being shown Banff from a “local” we were shown all the important things, like where to go for the BEST hot chocolate, where the best views are, where to get the best fudge, and where the best fondue can be had.

Tom & Kate are the perfect match for each other.  They are fun and goofy, and have braved the challenges of a long distance relationship with Tom being in Calgary and Kate finishing school in Toronto.  They are so supportive and encouraging of each other in their respective career paths and life choices, it is a true inspiration of a couple in love.

Graydon hall has the perfect balance of elegance and intimacy for a wedding, and the way Belle Fleur Events arranged the day with the best vendors in Toronto with Bobbette and Belle creating a beautiful cake, Stemz making amazing floral art, stationary designed by Paper & Poste and the beautiful makeup with faces by Carla.  The party was kicked off by DJ Michael Coombs and we worked the day along side cinematographer John from Images Weddings.

Graydon Hall is one of our favourite places to shoot because it reminds Sherry of being in a Jane Austin film, and if any of you know Sherry, a good Victorian era movie and a cup of tea is her ideal evening of “me time”.  The old world feel and home like feel to this luxurious mansion is the perfect place for a wedding.  Thank you Graydon Hall for making it such a smooth and awesome day.

Congratulations Tom & Kate, we wish you all the happiness in the world.

I love this one, as the girls were protesting having to wear the high heels all night, they wanted a photo to commemorate 🙂

Congratulations Tom & Kate
