Brent & Stephanie – Chatham Ontario Wedding
We are so happy to see Brent and Steph married! You see, Steph is like a little sister to Sherry as she grew up as Sherry’s sister’s best friend and needless to say… Sherry was teary eyed all day long.
The day began in Chatham, Ontario with the ceremony taking place at Emmanuel Baptist Church, and the reception and wedding photos taking place in the little hamlet of Florence, Ontario. There is a kissing tree in Shetland apparently where Steph’s family have had their wedding photos through out the generations, this is where we did some of the wedding party photos.
Much of the day was DIY (do-it-yourself for you non blog readers) and they did such a great job of making cute personal decorations through the whole day. From a “Steph and Brent” shape, to the scrapbook guest book, and the delicious cookie bar which had cookies donated by friends and family. Even the center peices were hand decorated by Steph. It was a beautiful wedding.
I’m not sure exactly how, but we made it to McDonalds for a light snack part way through the day and found a really cool abandoned Catholic school on the main street in Florence. I love old buildings… and I love them even more when there aren’t any “no trespassing” signs around to keep us out! Not that that has deterred us in the past.
